The RecallMate™ booklet is a communication tool designed to help patients recall personal biographical information, activities, people, and events in their lives. Not remembering family members’ names, important places, and events can cause a loved one to feel anxiety, sadness, confusion, and isolation. While not overly bombarding the patient, the RecallMate™booklet contains a collection of a few of the most significant people, places and events in a person’s life.
The RecallMate™booklet provides a springboard for conversation and interaction, triggers memories, and provides a handy reference for the loved one to quickly access during family gatherings or other times of forgetfulness. Caregivers create personalized content of the RecallMate™booklet and gather the pictures following the few simple instructions provided in this guide.
